Chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients


To make 9 medium size cookies

  • 2 cups gluten free white flour
  • 3/4 a bar of very dark unsweetened chocolate bar (I used 99% cacao)
  • 1/2 cup melted salted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup brown cane sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to about 180 °C
  2. Mix the butter & sugar until creamy then add the egg and the vanilla and mix for about 10 seconds
  3. Add to the mixture the flour, baking powder and salt

  5. Mix with hands until it’s crumbly (couple minutes or so)

  7. Cut the chocolate into smaller pieces and incorporate into the dough

  9. Roll the dough into about 9 balls
  10. place on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for only about 9 minutes

  12. Cool down for about 15 minutes and enjoy
