Chocolate Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

For the Smoothie base

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or your choice of milk)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened raw cacao powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon maca powder (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (or peanut butter if you prefer that)

For the toppings

  • Half a banana
  • Very dark chocolate pieces (I use 99% cacao)
  • 1 tablespoon tahini sauce
  • Raw hazelnuts

Directions

  1. Blend all the smoothie ingredients in a blender
  2. Place in a smoothie bowl
  3. Top with the toppings
