Mocha smoothie bowl



For the Smoothie base

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or your choice of milk)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened raw cacao powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground organic coffee (or more if you like it stronger)
  • 1/2 teaspoon maca powder (optional)
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats (optional)

For the toppings

  • 1/2 a banana
  • A drizzle of very dark melted chocolate pieces & dark chocolate crumble
  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
  • Your favourite fruit (I used a peach and few strasberries)
  • A drizzle of date syrup


  1. Blend all the smoothie ingredients in a blender
  2. Place in a smoothie bowl
  3. Top with the toppings
