Simple Vegan Tabouli Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of flat leaf parsley
  • A handful of mint leaves
  • half a bunch of green onion
  • small red onion (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon of Bulgur wheat
  • chilli (optional)
  • Romaine lettuce (to eat the salad with/make salad boats)

For the dressing

  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 medium lemons
  • pinch of salt and pepper

Simple Tabouli salad Recipe

A yummy taobuli salad, perfect for when you have guests coming over!

Directions

  1. Wash all the veggies
  2. Finely chop the parsley, spring onion and the red onion, tomatoes, chilli, mint and place them into a large salad bowl
  3. Juice the lemons and pour over the bulgur wheat together with the olive oil, black pepper and salt and let those soak for about 15 mins for a more lemony taste
  4. mix with the rest of the ingreients and serve
  5. Voila! a delicious tabouli salad.
