A tropical smoothie bowl with a turmeric twist

The turmeric smoothie bowl is topped with puffed quinoa, pink orange and tropical fruits (baby 🍍, baby papaya, and passion fruit). The lime is because papaya and lime are a match from heaven 😍.

The turmeric smoothie bowl is topped with puffed quinoa, pink orange and tropical fruits (baby 🍍, baby papaya, and passion fruit). The lime is because papaya and lime are a match from heaven

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • A teaspoon of turmeric spice
  • A small piece of fresh ginger (optional but great)
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats (for the added nutrients and to stay full until lunch time)

Toppings:

  • puffed quinoa
  • pink orange
  • tropical fruits (baby pineapple, baby papaya, and passion fruit)

Instructions

    1. Blend all the smoothie ingredients in a blender
    2. Place in a smoothie bowl
    3. Top with the toppings
