Creamy Vegan Cashew Smoothie Bowl


This delicious cashew smoothie is perfect for breakfasts or a more-ish snack, with chocolate and almond butter drizzled over it – I can’t get enough!


For the Cashew Smoothie base

  • 1/2 cup raw cashew nuts
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or your choice of milk)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened raw cacao powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon maca powder (optional)
  • 1/2 rolled oats (optional so you can stay full until lunch time)

For the toppings

  • a sprinkle of buckwheat
  • drizzle of very dark melted chocolate pieces (I use 99% cacao)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • Raw hazelnuts


  1. Blend all the smoothie ingredients in a blender
  2. Place in a smoothie bowl
  3. Top with the toppings
