Pull off one of the outermost petals of the cooked artichoke. Continue until all of the petals are removed.
Optionally, you can dip the base of the petal in your favorite dipping sauce.
Place the light end of the artichoke petal into your mouth (dip side down) and pull, scraping through your teeth. You will collect the soft, pulpy part of the leaves. Enjoy!
Underneath the artichoke petals is the artichoke heart – this is edible too. Remove the fuzzy "choke" part. Then cut the heart into pieces and enjoy.
