Turn up the flavor on steak night with this no-mess, no-fuss crock pot steak and gravy recipe that's succulent, tender, and swimming in a rich steak gravy.
Spray the bottom of the crock-pot with a non-stick spray.
Layer the onion chunks on the bottom of the crockpot, then add the steak. Sprinkle over the gravy mix/powder so the meat is completely covered.
Add the beef stock, salt (if using) black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and the butter (cut up into2-3 pieces).
Cover the crockpot and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours. The steak should be "fall apart tender" when it's completely cooked.

Notes
To store in the fridge: Transfer the steak and gravy into an airtight container. It should keep for up to five days.To freeze: Transfer into a freezer-safe container or a Ziplock bag. I find it easier to do this in individual portions as an easy grab-and-go option for mealtimes. Write the date on the front. It should keep for up to 2-3 months in the freezer.Check the blog post for serving suggestions!
