Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F/190°C.
Optionally, spray or brush the chicken with some olive oil for extra crispiness.
Place the chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Work in batches if needed.
Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F/190°C.-For larger pieces: reheat for 8-10 minutes. Flip halfway through, so the chicken reheats evenly.- For chicken tenders: reheat for about 5-7 minutes, flipping your pieces at the halfway point. - For chicken wings (bone-in or boneless): hear for about 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking.
Notes
How long to reheat fried chicken in the air fryer will depend on the size of the pieces. Cook smaller pieces for a shorter amount of time and bigger pieces for longer.
Store the leftover fried chicken in an airtight container or wrapped tightly in aluminum foil or plastic wrap. Consume it within 4 days, though it's best to eat it as soon as it's been reheated.
Make sure to place it in the refrigerator as soon as possible after it has been reheated, within 2 hours.
Do not reheat the chicken more than once, as this can increase the risk of foodborne illness.
