This 2-ingredient homemade garlic salt recipe is simple to prepare, tastes better than store-bought, and adds the perfect aromatic boost to almost any savory dish!
1ozsalt3 Tbsp; table salt, sea salt, or kosher salt
This will yield 1/4 cup
Instructions
Simply combine the spices directly in a spice jar, shake well, and store.
Once prepared, store the seasoning in a cool, dry, dark location (like a kitchen cupboard/pantry) for up to 6 months. Keep it away from moisture, and note that since there is no anti-caking agent, the salt may clump up slightly. If it does, shake the bottle well to help break it up.
Notes
Please note that if you’re using garlic salt to replace garlic within a recipe, you’ll need to reduce other added salt or risk it becoming overly salty.
