A festive frozen yogurt bark recipe that kids will love. It can be made using homemade natural yogurt or coconut yogurt, for a Vegan version, and whipped up in 10 minutes then left to freeze. A delicious & healthy snack whenever cravings hit!
The first step to creating any frozen yogurt bark recipe is choosing the yogurt. I have made two types before - one with homemade natural yogurt and one with vegan coconut yogurt. Both work amazingly and taste superb, too.
To Make Yogurt Bark:
Cover a large baking tray with non-stick baking paper and spread the yogurt in a thin layer over it.
It's then time to prepare your toppings. Depending on what fruit you have decided to use, you may want to chop these in various ways. For this festive snack, I decided to cut my kiwi into Christmas trees and strawberries into stars. I also halved any large berries
To decorate the yogurt bark, let your creativity loose. I simply arranged my various toppings all over the yogurt evenly.
Once you've decorated this to your heart content, simply pop the tray into your freezer until it has completely frozen. This should take between 2-4 hours, depending on your freezer.
Once the yogurt is frozen solid, take it out of the freezer to 'snap' into smaller sections. Pop these pieces into a freezer-friendly container and they are ready to pull out at any time. An almost effortless healthy Christmas snack!
To Make a Festive Christmas Wreath
This can be done one of two ways. You can either make a frozen yogurt wreath or use the combination of un-frozen yogurt and fruit to cover a wreath-arranged pile of granola or mini pancakes.
To make the frozen wreath, simply spread your yogurt in a ring shape over a piece of parchment paper. Swirl in some preserve or leftover cranberry sauce, if wanted and then decorate.
Freeze for 2-4 hours.

Notes
note* I coloured my puffed quinoa with raspberry powder dor even more of a festive look- Plus it tastes lovely too. * Keep in mind that if you are using coconut yogurt, it reacts faster to the change of temperature. To enjoy it frozen, do so quickly after you take it out of the fridge.
