Alphafoodie is free to read, and I want you to know exactly how it pays its way. Here are all the ways the site earns money, and how I tell you about each one.

Ads
Most pages show ads, managed by Raptive, an ad company that works with independent creators. The ads are what keep the recipes free. My privacy policy has more about the ads and cookies.
Affiliate links
Some links on Alphafoodie are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, I earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Posts that may contain them say so at the top, before the recipe.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
I only recommend tools and ingredients I’d happily use in my own kitchen, and a commission never decides what I recommend.
Sponsored posts
Sometimes a brand pays me to create a recipe with its product. Those posts are always clearly labeled at the top, before you start reading, and the recipe and opinions are still my own.
Free products
If a brand sends me something for free and I write about it, I’ll say so in the post.
My own products
I sell a few things I’ve made myself: my cookbook, Lebanese Cuisine: The Authentic Cookbook, and my nut milk bag. When I mention them, I’ll always tell you they’re mine.
