If it’s not already obvious by now, I am absolutely overnight oats obsessed! These 5 quick & easy, healthy recipes are so perfect as a make-ahead healthy breakfast for someone who’s always on the go, has busy mornings and is struggling to find ways to make breakfast fun again. Plus these healthy dessert inspired options are sure to thrill anyone with a sweet tooth. I mean, who wouldn’t want some delicious vegan salted caramel!
You may already have come across my recipes for Mango overnight oats or Strawberry overnight oats (among many others). This time I have something a little bit different – Dessert inspired great recipes!! Think carrot cake, apple pie, cookie dough, strawberry cheesecake and salted caramel!
The best thing is, overnight oats are just SO versatile. They have a quick to prepare and simple base recipe. You just need oats, milk and sweetener of your choice.
Then you can experiment with all sorts of flavour combinations. Not to mention that these overnight oats are great as a healthy meal-prep option for the entire week and a perfect way to get in some delicious, organic fruits & veggies into your diet!
I personally love to include chia seeds within my mixture too. They help thicken the dish. Also, chia seeds are also an absolute powerhouse of nutrients, easily packing in additional protein too without being too calorie dense.
