Sauces and dips are one of my favorite things to make. They are often simple to prepare and yet bring so much flavor to your meal. I’ve shared a variety over the years, from Raising Cane’s copycat to simple homemade chili sauce and this spicy sriracha mayo. I enjoy them so much that I make many of them on a regular basis.

This sriracha mayo is a creamy, tangy, and mildly spicy sauce that adds a zingy flavor to your dishes. It’s so versatile, and you can adjust the spiciness to your taste—use it as a dip, dressing, or spread. It pairs perfectly with crispy fried chicken or avocado sushi rolls.

Ingredients

Ingredients for homemade Sriracha Mayo.
  • Mayonnaise: To make up the base with a creamy texture.
  • Sriracha hot chili sauce: This is the key to making it spicy. Use sriracha or another hot sauce if preferred.
  • Lime juice: To balance the creaminess of the mayo and add a refreshing citrus note. Alternatively, you can use lemon juice.
  • Sesame oil: To add a slightly nutty flavor and a silky mouthfeel.
  • Black pepper: To enhance the spiciness of the chili sauce.
