After a long day of fasting, nothing compares to that first bite during iftar, when you feel your energy is finally restored. But iftar isn’t just about the food you eat. It’s a time to gather with my loved ones, both family and friends, to share our traditions, and to enjoy comforting iftar dishes passed down from my grandma and my grandma’s grandma.
